Hi everyone, and welcome to my Modeling Blog!  I started this blog so that I could be in touch with you easily, and so that you could ask me questions.  One of the first questions someone involved in the modeling business is going to ask you is, “Why do you want to be a model?”  Well, you need to know that answer, and be sure about what you are saying.  So, take a minute and think about your answer.  Then write it down on a piece of paper.  In fact, I suggest that you start a modeling notebook, and you can keep all your modeling information in one place.  That’s what I do, and my mom does too.  It makes it easy to go back and find information, instead of rustling through a bunch of papers on your table!  

Your answer to the BIG question should show some passion for the business.  Just saying that you think modeling will be fun isn’t enough.  Talk about how you like to perform, and modeling is a performance.  Say something about how you love clothes, and it’s your passion to put outfits together and show them off at their best.  Talk about makeup, hair, whatever interests you, and relate it back to you, and your desire to be the best representative of a company that they’ll ever have!  Do a little research and know something about the company that is interviewing you.  You’ll really impress them with that!
